Family Ties.

Older brothers. Sometimes it honestly crosses my mind, who needs them? but then i think about all the things they do for me and its hard to stay mad at them. They really are my best friends.

Deakin and Zane. Two totally diffrerent personalities, likes, dislikes and hobbies.

Meet Zane:

likes: cars, movies, good books, quad racing, guitar, key board, AFL.

dislikes: grunge music, NRL, coffee, losing sleep, cricket.

meet Deakin:

age: 22

eyes: greeny/blue

hair: light brown

likes: NRL, soccer, playstation, house music, his ute, girls, chilling at the local pub, his motorbike

dislikes: studying, guys who play guitar, AFL, and girls who don’t give him attention.

Deakin and Zane are my closest mates. But at times, i could kill them. Not only as older brothers, do they refuse to respect the idea of privacy when it comes to me and my friends talking on the phone, but they tend to ignore the idea of me being a girl. Thanks to them, growng up i was always a tom boy.

But to be completely honest, i never really enjoyed the ribbons and ponytails that my mum would endlessly try to put on me. I was happy to roll in the mud and play on the motorbikes.

I always tried to copy my brothers growing up, if they were on the horses i wanted to be on the horses and if they would muck around on the bikes all day i would cry until i could to. My Dad thought it would be a good idea if Deakin and Zane taught me how to use the bikes, and much to my mums dismay, dad brought me my very own four wheeler at the age of 5.

At the end of the day, i wouldnt trade my brothers in for anything. I know they always have my back. I do love them.

My Life on the Saddle.

Riding is definately one of my passions. My dad trains horses as well as working the land. It is something that has rubbed off on me. My older brothers used to ride, but with them getting older i think they lost their zest for it. Here is a photo of Deakin with our old girl Dusty. This photo always makes me laugh. 

Even though Dusty is like ten times his size, Deakin used to ride her so well. Zane enjoyed riding as well and competed in a few local competitions with dad as his trainer.

Here is Zane and Deakin aged 8 and 6 with Mums favourite, Caramelo.

Competing for me though is more then a hobby. Working and training hard, and seeing that end result is something i just love.   Here is me when i was 11 on my horse Dodger.

My mum took this photo. She always has a camera attatched to her hand. But i guess its times like these im glad she did because Dodger passed away a little while after this was taken. So its great to be able to look back and see what a gorgeous horse she was.

Horsing Around.

Today i went for a drive with dad to check on the new additions to Murramurra. Casey gave birth to a beautiful  1/2 arab colt.  He is out of a padron grandaughter and a quarter horse reining stallion. isn’t she cute. Dad thinks that she will be ready in no time.

Home sweet Home.

Condobolin. Home of Shannon Noll and other musical genuises.

I know my last post was about my love for condobolin, but i can not help but promote it. Here is a picture of my house on our property “MurraMurra” 

Isn’t it gorgeous. My home sweet home is somewhere i will never leave. Something about it just draws me to stay. The great thing about my home is that beyond that pretty picket fence, you get nothing but tree’s, dams, animals and clean air. No tall buoldings blocking the sun or the view. Its hard to imagine living anywhere else…

About Chloe James!

I am still really new to this whole experience, and it is alot different to my Myspacde days.

My name is CHLOE. I think its time that the world met me. Living in a small country town, you tend to be limited on who you meet and greet. WordPress will definately be my ticket to that big wide world out.

I am only 19, but i dont think i am regular 19 year old. I dont really do the whole clubbing and city night life, which is pretty impossible out here.

Our local pub is the best place to hang out and i can guarantee it is where everyone is on a Friday Saturday, Sunday right through till Monday night. It is the hang out. And you can do nothing but love it.

Most people don’t know where Condobolin is. So i thought i would help out.

WordPress is the new Myspace.

Hello. I have just recently discovered wordpress.com. I have to say, i feel it is the new Myspace. It is a fun and exciting way to talk to other people about anything and everything.

I am sure i will enjoy this experience. As my first blog i have to say i am enjoying this already!!
